Thanksgiving, Round Two

Every year, we celebrate Thanksgiving with my Dad and Lee the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Hunter was feeling much better today, so he got to enjoy some turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes!

Hunter and His Blankie

Hunter is very attached to his blankie lately. He will not nap without it and carries it all over the house with him. We have ourselves a little Linus!

Yo Gabba Gabba

Hunter's new favorite show is Yo Gabba Gabba http://www.yogabbagabba.com/
If you haven't seen it before, it's the craziest show I've ever seen, but it is educational and this is what Hunter looks like when it comes on:

Hunter vs. Pastina

So instead of shopping on Black Friday, we were in stomach virus hell! After Hunter didn't eat much on Thanksgiving, he decided to get really sick on Friday! So, since we're on the BRAT diet, I made Hunter some pastina for dinner. My mom always made it for us as kids when we weren't feeling well, so I was a little excited to do the same. Well, let's just say that the pastina won b/c Hunter was covered in it!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This year for Thanksgiving, we stopped by Jan & Karl's to see some of the Kochie's and then went to my Aunt Tina's for dinner. I don't have any cute pictures of Hunter eating turkey or mashed potatoes because he wasn't feeling well and didn't eat anything (except for Aunt Tina's homemade ginger snaps!)

Chelsea and Carmen:

This face should've clued me in that he wasn't feeling well!

It was a long day and we were both pretty wiped out! I fell asleep before he did!

Some Fun with My New Camera!

So I've been begging Derek for a Digital SLR camera for about a year now, and he finally caved and bought me one! I got the Canon Rebel XTI for my birthday and the pictures speak for themselves! I can't wait until I know how to really use it rather than just taking everything on "Auto."

Halloween (Finally!)

Sorry these are so late!
Derek had to work 9-9 on Halloween Day, so Hunter and I went down to my mom's to go Trick-or-Treating with her and Alex.
Hunter couldn't say "Trick-or-Treat" but he could say "Boo!" when you ask him, "What does the ghost say?"

Here are some pics of Hunter's "Pre-Costume Photo Shoot"

Please Touch Museum

Hunter and I met up with a few of my friends and their babies on Sunday at the Please Touch Museum.
In case you haven't heard, it's now located in Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, and it's HUGE!!!
As a child, we always went on field trips there, so I was really excited to take Hunter!
He had such a great time and we only got to cover maybe 1/3 of the place.
We'll be going back soon enough!

Hunter and his friend Maddie

Hunter sitting in the boat - that he did not want to move from! I'm sure my dad will be happy that he already has a love of boats!

We tried to get a group shot, but it was just about Nap Time!
